Stopped at this Panera Bread in Watertown Square. It’s so new that it’s not even on their app yet. This is all there is to it. There’s no tables no seating. It’s sort of like a ride I did this morning. Nothing to it. Not even any earnings.
This is terrible. Harvard Square to Logan Airport for $8.09 which nets out to $1.79 after expenses. If a family or a friend asked me to drive them to Logan for $8.09. I would tell them to keep the money because they must need it more than I do.

It gets worse. Nowhere will you see the $8.09 referenced. Lyft tells me I earned $11.44.

The receipt explains that the customer paid $14. Then certain fees were subtracted from that.

The tolls are then added in as part of my earnings! It’s a reimbursement! The driver pays the tolls, the passenger is charged, and the driver is reimbursed. At least Uber shows it that way. Lyft does not.
The distance on this ride was 9.4 miles. The auto expenses are $.67 per mile. That works out to be $6.30 in expenses. Subtract that from the $8.09 and I earned $1.79 for this ride.
Pay your taxes, you hard-working suckers. I need the food stamps, the heating assistance, nice roads to drive on, and staffed emergency services. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
